From Our Hearts To Yours, Have a Happy & Safe Holiday Season From All At RetroVision Media

Thank goodness this is our last posting for the year, as we suspect the many others we have opposed over the past 12 months would agree. From Hillary Clinton, to Rudy Giuliani, to George Bush, to Dick Chaney to Alberto Gonzales, and the main stream media, we are sure our silence for the next two weeks is more than welcomed.

For those that have enjoyed our spicy, salty, in your face approach to news and commentary about the failings of our government and the lawmakers we place our faith and trust in, fear not for we shall return ready to do battle with the forces of the status quo and intellectual stagnation shortly after the first of the new year.
Our Podcast show today is chock full of goodies, including positive movie reviews and recommendations of I Am Legend and Alvin and the Chipmunks, weekend recommendations of local New York City artist, along with our final slam of the FCC for forcing the public’s acceptance of their rule change on cross ownership by media conglomerates.

Lets get down to business:

Black Box Theater Recommendation: Queens of Heart, written and directed by Sabura Rashid previewing this Thursday through Saturday 8:00 pm at the Theater for the New City155 First Avenue(between 9th and 10th Streets)New York, NY 10003Telephone: (212) 254-1109Fax: (212) 979-6570

For local comedy, we recommend some old friends, Eric Vetter and his No Name and Bag O’ Chips Show now playing regularly at the Collective Unconscious 279 Church Street NYC, NY 10013 TICKETS: 212.352.3101 VENUE: 212.254.5277

Eric and company will perform tonight at 7:00 pm, with a $5.00 cover charge. The No Name Show can also be caught Saturday night at The Pit 154 W. 29th Street between 7th and 8th avenues. The cost is a mere $8.00 for the late night 11:00 pm start. The Pit is recognized as a mecca for New York City comedy and a perfect fit for the No Name crew.
